Ira Yeager Indian Portraits: Forty Years of Indians

Ira Yeager Studios is excited to start the year by announcing the release of their newest art catalogue, Ira Yeager Indian Paintings: Forty Years of Indians. Following a successful exhibition of Native American portraits from November 2005, this 123-page color catalogue features an original essay by Robert Flynn Johnson, curator in charge of the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, and 56 full-color images of Yeager’s new 2006 Indian portrait series as well as works from noted collectors. Also included are documentary photographs of the artist in his studios throughout the last 40 years, an essay by JJ Russ entitled “Ira Yeager as a Self-Critic” and a foreword by studio director Brian Fuller.
